I love to help people and solve problems.
Here is a little glimpse at some of the things I do:

GeoQuizzer

GeoQuizzer is a web app that allows you to create and share Geo located photos for others to guess where they were taken. It's a passion project of mine based off of a rudimentary "game" me and my friend play over WhatsApp. It's built with Vue.js, Tailwind CSS, and Supabase.

Software Engineering

Since 2022, I've worked at F1® Arcade, initially as Venue Tech Manager for the London launch. I played a key role in the expansion to Birmingham and USA. Now, as a Full Stack Software Engineer, I work across the entire F1® Arcade platform, including Sim UI, game backend, internal tools, rFactor 2 interface, web minigames, web apps, API, and more.

Rob Boston Racing's Mercedes AMG GT3 sporting trophies I aided in winning in the BEC

Motorsports

My involvement in motorsports began in 2016 with CoDriVR (GFactor) in NZ Club and National Rally. There I aided in building bespoke VR simulators, photogrammetry post processing, and rally engineering. Today I work across multiple racing categories providing bespoke data analysis solutions and race engineering mainly with Rob Boston Racing.

Robotics

I spent my first 7 years in London as a Robotics Technician at the LDE UTC. Across SoftBank Robotics, LEGO Education, Ultimaker 3D Printing, and ABB Robotic Systems. I was also heading curriculum design and training for ICODEROBOTS on the weekends. LDE UTC sent me to Billund, to train and become the youngest Qualified LEGO Education Teacher Trainer in the world.

Aviation

I spent my youth at the South Otago Aero Club completing flight time in their Piper Cherokee and sitting my PPL exams. I have a keen passion for aviation and have flown in regional flying competitions. At LDE UTC I was involved with the creation of the IASTI London City, a first of its kind aviation college.

Space

I used to run a weekly Aeronautics and Space club at LDE UTC where we explored Satellite and ADBS data acquisition using SDR. I thoroughly enjoyed introducing people to accessible means of engaging with the skies above their heads, and the work happening on the ground and beyond.

Education

Between 2015 and 2022 I was working full time in education: managing IT Departments, integrating technology into the classroom, maintaining partner relationships, teaching after school workshops, or training teachers. The majority of my time was spent at LDE UTC, an innovative and forward thinking college that is at the forefront of integrating technology into the classroom.
